Our small dedicated team solicits donations from individuals and organizations, produces soft plastic baits, and arranges for baits and donated tackle to get in the hands of our veterans who use fishing as a means for rehabilitation and regaining mental stability.

Our mission
Worms for Warriors
(Working On Rehabilitation and Mental Stability)
Worms for Warriors has 501(c)3 status as a non-profit corporation dedicated to enhancing the lives of United States military veterans by providing them free access to fishing tackle, lures and equipment so they can safely and enjoyably participate in the many fishing tournaments and activities that are held across the US on a regular basis. Worms for Warriors President, Franklin Sullivan, started fishing at age six with a handline and bobber and his passion for the sport has grown over the years. Although currently a corporate executive, Mr. Sullivan spends his spare time pouring a range of plastic baits that he makes available, at his expense, to other fisherman and organizations. His dream is that, through Worms for Warriors and with more widespread financial support, he can significantly expand this activity and enlist the engagement of other companies in the fishing tackle business to support our veterans. WORMS is an acronym for Working On Rehabilitation and Mental Stability. Many of our veterans return from active duty with physical and mental challenges and it is our belief that fishing provides a means of rehabilitation for the body and mind. By making this activity more affordable, we hope to give many more veterans access to this opportunity. Donated funds will be used to secure the equipment, supplies and labor necessary to scale the lure making activities, to make sure the tackle gets to the various organizations and participants of veteran tournaments, and to communicate the mission of Worms for Warriors to all those who may want to contribute
